Susan Mathew is part of CUTS International as an Assistant Policy Analyst. She is part of the trade and sustainable development team within the CUTS Centre for International Trade, Economics and Environment (CUTS CITEE). At CUTS, she manages the programme and research team in various merging themes of trade policy advocacy with agriculture, climate change, water and energy in South Asia and East Africa. She has also been part of multiple field projects on all the four major river systems (Brahmaputra, Ganga, Indus and Kosi) in South Asia.
She is a graduate in agriculture from Anand Agricultural University and a post-graduate in horticulture from Navsari Agricultural University. Her previous work experiences include working with Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (Government of India) and Department of Agriculture (Government of Kerala and Government of Gujarat) and multiple non-state actors.
